A former AEW star has commented on the company’s lack of organisation.

On May 2nd it was reported that Ethan Page had finally left AEW after first trying to get out of his contract back in February. Page had been with the company since 2021, but had found TV time hard to come by for several months.

Fast forward to the May 28th episode of NXT and Page shocked fans with an attack on NXT Champion Trick Williams. The former AEW man also revealed he’d been behind the assaults on Noam Dar and Oro Mensah.

Since then, Ethan Page has become a prominent figure on NXT television, even challenging for the NXT Title at Battleground.

Ethan Page Reflects On AEW Exit

During an appearance on Talk’n Shop, Page was asked about his first day in NXT, and the star was quick to point out the differences in organisation.

“Pretty crazy. I went from somewhere that was so chaotic and unorganized to a place that, I mean I’m still learning because I’m still so new here, but this is a machine and it’s incredible. It feels good to not feel like I have to do everything myself. To have people that want to see me succeed is kind of mind blowing.”

Continuing on, Page was full of praise for the coaches in NXT, commenting there are “geniuses” on hand all day every day.

“I’m seventeen years in, I still feel like — I don’t want to say the word green, but like, I’ve essentially had to do everything myself. I pretty much taught myself how to wrestle and now I’m like, oh, there’s geniuses here all day that I can be like, ‘Does this suck? Okay, well tell me how to do it better,’ and they will.”

Ethan Page is due to challenge for the NXT Championship at Heatwave when he meets the champion Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Shawn Spears in a huge Fatal-Four-Way-Match.
