Forgotten WWE Star Signs New Multi-Year Contract

Triple H WWE

A former WWE Tag Team Champion has signed a new contract.

In January, Omos wrapped up an impressive run in Japan, with hopes that he’d return to WWE and take the company by storm.

Despite being recalled from his starring role with Pro Wrestling NOAH, Omos is yet to return to WWE television, once again finding himself on the sidelines. The star hasn’t featured for the company since taking part in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal in April 2024.

In a recent interview, Omos admitted he doesn’t know when he’ll return to action, and could only promise to be ready when the call comes.

Omos Signs New WWE Deal

Despite his absence, Omos told Gambling Industry News in a new interview that he recently signed a new multi-year contract with the WWE. The former Tag Team Champion added that during his hiatus, he’s been training hard and trying new things.

Things are going very well. Can’t complain. I’m really excited about what is to come. I’ve been training really hard and working on some new things and I think it’s going to be a really fun ride ahead, especially because I just signed a renewal with WWE and will be there for years to come!

Omos went on to describe his time in Japan with Pro Wrestling NOAH as “phenomenal.”

That was phenomenal, man. I was going through a little bit of a pause, just waiting around. I needed to go to Japan and I ended up finding myself as a performer and I needed to go to Japan for my personal and mental health. It was really good to go there and just kind of have this fresh restart again.

Omos originally signed with WWE in 2019, before going on to enjoy the most successful run of his career next to AJ Styles a year later, where the pair won the Raw Tag Team Championship.
