Forgotten WWE Star Returns At AAA Taping
A forgotten WWE star has finally returned.
Despite long-term injuries to Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, things have improved on the injury front for WWE in recent weeks.
After undergoing shoulder surgery in July, Chad Gable has been working out at the Performance Center as he works towards a comeback. At the time, Gable had been performing as El Grande Americano. After suffering a major shoulder injury, Gable was written off television after an attack from Penta.
The news comes after it was reported that Liv Morgan will be back in action in early 2026. The former Women’s World Champion also suffered a serious shoulder injury earlier in the year.
Morgan’s injury sparked chaos backstage, with several major storylines having to be rewritten after the severity of the problem became clear.

At AAA Alianzas, Apollo Crews made a surprise appearance to wrestle his first match in 11 months. At the event, Crews answered an open challenge from Lince Dorado during an untelevised portion of the taping.
Crews kicked off his comeback with a victory.
Back in February, Apollo Crews underwent surgery for a torn pec after getting injured during a match on SmackDown. At the time, the star said that the incident was “beyond his control.” Crews’ last match was against Johnny Gargano on the January 24 edition of the blue brand.
