Forgotten WWE Star Officially Retires

A former WWE star has confirmed that their wrestling career is officially over and they have no plans to ever return to the ring.

Currently in WWE, Otis is a key part of Alpha Academy alongside Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri. The trio were abandoned by Chad Gable as he formed American Made with The Creeds and Ivy Nile, but this is not the first team Otis has been a part of.

Before being part of Alpha Academy, Otis had been part of Heavy Machinery alongside Tucker Knight. The two stars began teaming up in 2016 and became one of NXT’s most popular acts despite never winning tag team gold on the brand.

In 2019, Heavy Machinery moved to the WWE main roster but as the pandemic era crept in, Otis became one of the company’s stand-out stars as he was part of a romantic relationship with Mandy Rose before he won the Money In The Bank briefcase.

Ex-WWE Star Tucker Not Returning To The Ring

However, Otis never got the chance to cash in as he lost the briefcase in a match against The Miz after Tucker turned on his partner. Following the betrayal, Tucker’s role was severely diminished before he was released from the company a matter of a few months later. Following his release, Tucker – under the name Levi Cooper – competed several times for DEFY but his last match came in June 2023.

Now Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda noted that he spoke to Tucker who confirmed that he was now retired from the ring and has no plans to return:

I just spoke with former WWE star Tucker of fka Heavy Machinery. He said that he has retired from professional wrestling and does not plan to return, He currently is a high school wrestling coach & raising his two kids. Best wishes.

Otis recently reunited with his ex-tag team partner but with Tucker hanging up his boots for good, it seems there won’t be a Heavy Machinery reunion in the ring.
