One forgotten WWE General Manager has signed a new five-year deal with the company and his name is Armando Alejandro Estrada!

Following a spell in WWE developmental, Armando Alejandro Estrada burst into the company as the manager for the debuting Umaga. Estrada enjoyed a celebratory cigar or two when he was by the side of Umaga when he captured the Intercontinental Title.

However, by the time of the Battle of the Billionaires match at WrestleMania 23, Estrada was written off TV after being thrown down a ramp in his wheelchair by Umaga’s opponent, Bobby Lashley.

Later in 2007, Armando Estrada emerged as the new General Manager of ECW but he eventually transitioned out of that role into an active competitor but found very little success losing to the likes of Colin Delaney, Hornswoggle, and knock knock, Braden Walker. Estrada was eventually released by the company in November 2008.

Now Armando Estrada has taken to social media to reveal he’s signed a new legends/nostalgia deal that ties him to WWE for the next five years:

I’m happy to announce that I have signed a 5 year Legends/Nostalgia contract w/ @WWE for special appearances & merchandising, including action figures, video games, & more! Great to be back in the fold with them!

Estrada’s former client Umaga sadly passed away in late 2009 at the age of just 36 but he is fondly remembered by fans and is never far from their thoughts when his nephew Jacob Fatu unleashes hell as part of The Bloodline.
