Forgotten WWE Star Sends Chilling Threat To NXT Champion
One NXT Champion could be in for a rough night in the ECW Arena after an old name from WWE & the extreme promotion’s past issued a strong warning.
Tony D’Angelo held onto the NXT North American Championship at Halloween Havoc against Oba Femi but being The Don is never an easy task and now he looks to be facing a threat from a very surprising name.
NXT is heading to the old ECW Arena on the 6th of November with one ECW icon already announced as a special referee for that show. Bubba Ray Dudley will compete in his first WWE match in 8 years in his old stomping grounds while Rob Van Dam and Francine will also be in attendance in Philadelphia.
But it’s another old name from ECW and WWE that has sent a chilling warning to Tony D’Angelo.
WWE’s Nunzio Disrespected By Tony D’Angelo
D’Angelo was approached backstage on the 29th of October edition of NXT TV by Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen but Luca Crusifino and Stacks Lorenzo had a worrying voicemail to play for their boss. The unnamed voice was unhappy that they had to hear from “Silvio” that D’Angelo would be in Philadelphia and warned that this disrespect would not be tolerated.

D’Angelo seemed to know exactly who the message was from and fans were quick to notice that the voice heard seemed to belong to ex-WWE star Nunzio, also known in ECW as Little Guido – a member of the Full Blooded Italians. Whether this meeting will lead to a war or the two families getting on the same page remains to be seen.
