WWE WrestleMania 40 logo over ladder match

The stage for WWE WrestleMania 40 is coming to life.

The first photos and short video clips showing work underway at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for WrestleMania have leaked online. In the clips, fans can see the stage being erected as well as where the ring will be positioned.

WrestleMania 40 is set to take place on April 6th and 7th at the home of NFL franchise the Philadelphia Eagles. This is the first time WrestleMania has been back to the city since 1999. On that occasion, in the main event, Steve Austin defeated The Rock to become World Champion.

Night one is set to be headlined by a huge tag team match between The Rock & Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes, while a singles match between Reigns and Rhodes will top the bill on night two.
