Fired WWE Star To Retire From Wrestling
It looks like one released WWE star is calling time on their wrestling career altogether as they are now expected to retire.
WWE confirmed fans’ worst fears when the company released several stars from the roster, including Braun Strowman and Shayna Baszler. Dakota Kai, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter were also let go from the main roster, while a whole host of NXT talent were also cut.
Gigi Dolin, Cora Jade, Riley Osborne, Eddy Thorpe, Jakara Jackson, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang, Oro Mensah, and Javier Bernal were all let go. It later emerged that Dani Palmer had also been let go, while Shotzi’s WWE contract would not be renewed, meaning that she would leave the company in the very near future.
Released WWE Star Giving Up On Wrestling
Dani Palmer has taken to social media to release a statement following her release, and she has indicated that her time as a pro wrestler is now at an end as she ends her athletic career:
Thank you WWE for bringing me to the love of my life🤍 the past 3 years have been amazing! It’s a bittersweet feeling to be officially closing out my athletic career, but I can truly say I went til the wheels fell off..literally lol.
Our bodies are a gift and mine has been so kind to me. I look forward to this next chapter!! Gods been giving me some big dreams with bringing my business back and I couldn’t be more stoked about it! Thank you all for the support❤️❤️
Fightful Select followed up on the situation regarding Palmer, noting that people they spoke to “don’t believe that Dani Palmer will continue in wrestling.”
