Fired WWE Star Tells Fans “Don’t Grieve For Me, I’m Not Dead”

Recently released WWE Superstar Isla Dawn has urged fans not to dwell on her departure from the company.

Dawn was amongst a number of talent released by WWE in early February, with the likes of Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Giovanni Vinci and Blair Davenport all shown the exit door.

It brought to an end a seven year stint with the company for the 31 year-old Glasgow-born star whose undoubted highlight in WWE came on home soil as she joined forces with Unholy Union team mate Alba Fyre to pry the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair in front of a raucous crowd at Clash Of The Castle on 15th June 2024.

The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion recently took to social media to deliver an in-character response to her release, insisting that there was much more to come in future:

“One of the sad facts of life is that you won’t hear all the good things that people have to say about you until you’re gone.

Everyone bottles up their emotions only to pour them over your lifeless frame when it is just a little too late.

“Oh my God, I’m gonna miss her.”

“Oh my god she was a champion. She was a star. She did not deserve this.”

Did I deserve this? No. But I did need it. I was bleeding out, and this this was the pressure on the gauze. I was crashing. This is the thing that revived me. My heart stopped on the table, but someone down there sent me back up, knowing that it wasn’t quite my time.

The White Witch is gone. The Unholy Enchantress, buried in the grave. Two-time tag team champion, ashes in an urn.

But don’t grieve for me. Isla Dawn’s not dead yet.”

WWE Superstar Undergoes Knee Procedure Ahead Of Huge Bout

Another top Scottish Superstar who continues to make his mark in WWE is Drew McIntyre.

The former World Heavyweight Champion has been at the forefront of WWE programming in recent months and took on Jimmy Uso in a huge bout to open the 22nd February edition of SmackDown.

His efforts were not without sacrific, however, with McIntyre taking to social media after the bout to share footage of a knee draining procedure he had to undertake before the match.
