Fired WWE Star Accused Of Disturbing Physical Abuse

A former WWE star’s ex-partner has provided further details of the physical abuse she allegedly suffered.

In September, shortly after making his long-awaited main roster debut, Odyssey Jones was fired by WWE following allegations of domestic abuse. While details were scarce at the time of Jones’ firing, POST Wrestling has now revealed details of the police report filed by his former partner.

According to the report, which was filed on May 23rd, 2024, the ex-partner – who asked not to be named – told officers that Jones – real name Omari Palmer – assaulted her on May 17th after seeing text messages she had sent to another man. He is alleged to have thrown items, grabbed his ex-partner, and slammed her to the floor twice. In the same report, Jones denied the allegations, saying he did not get physical with his former partner, but admitted he did get upset and throw objects around the apartment.

The case is still under review, and the Orange County State Attorney’s Office has yet to decide whether to press charges formally.

Speaking to POST Wrestling, Jones’ ex-partner made further allegations against Jones. The pair went on a Caribbean cruise soon after the initial incident, with Jones insisting they go as planned and threatening to “break her phones” before they left.

“I told him I saw where this was going and I was going to leave because things were not going to go good on the cruise. It was repeated behavior so I saw it coming. He told me to sit my ass down and calm down, that we were leaving the following morning for the trip.”

During the cruise, the former partner says Jones assaulted her again, leaving her with a concussion.

“[Jones] bashed me against the walls in the cabin a few times because I was leaving the room. I had bruises all over my body.”

Shortly after his WWE firing, Jones was granted an order of protection against his ex-partner in September, alleging that she had physically attacked him during the cruise. He has also accused her of attacking him at a hotel the previous December.

However, Jones’ former partner denies his account, saying he “twisted the story to befit him.”

“Omari twisted the story to benefit him and told his lawyer a bunch of lies which clearly were not backed up by evidence.”

The ex-partner is now supportive of legal action being taken against Jones, saying she’s “no longer scared to speak up.”

“I am no longer scared to speak up after he instilled fear in me for so long.”

“I used to feel bad for Omari and hoped he would change his erratic behavior and abusive ways towards me. He portrays [himself] to be someone else to the public, to his fans, to his parents. No one knows a lot of the things I’ve kept quiet and endured. I wanted to protect him and love him but it reached a point where enough was enough.”

Former WWE Star Odyssey Jones Taking Legal Action

Ahead of POST Wrestling’s report being released, Odyssey Jones made a statement on allegations him. The former star said the allegations were false, and that he is taking legal action against his accuser. He also noted that he is taking wrestling bookings again, and thanked fans for their support.
