Fired TNA Executive Spotted At WWE Performance Centre
A former TNA executive whose time in the promotion came to a shocking end has now been spotted at WWE’s Performance Center.
In February 2024, TNA made the shocking decision to fire Scott D’Amore. The former president had been with the company for over two decades in various roles onscreen and behind the scenes. Shortly after he was let go, D’Amore explained that it all boiled down to a difference of opinion on how things should be done in the company.
Since then TNA and WWE have formed something of a partnership with talent from D’Amore’s old company trading places with some of NXT’s rising stars. Scott D’Amore has been busy himself as he resurrected Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, holding shows that saw one AEW star defend their newly won championship.
Scott D’Amore Tours WWE Performance Center
Now, in what many might see as a surprise development, Fightful Select has reported that Scott D’Amore was seen at the WWE Performance Center on November 8th. The report noted that D’Amore was simply visiting and given a tour of the facilities while holding some informal conversations.
In recent months, WWE has allowed some of its talent to appear on independent shows with Charlie Dempsey and Karmen Petrovic both heading to Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport in the near future. Whether any of WWE’s stars will be appearing on Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling shows in the future remains to be seen.
