Finn Balor Lavishes Praise On WWE Pariah Brock Lesnar

Finn Balor believes Brock Lesnar is on a different level.

Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE TV since Cody Rhodes defeated him at SummerSlam in 2023. The Beast Incarnate was widely believed to be preparing for a return at the 2024 Royal Rumble, however, before that could happen, Brock Lesnar was implicated in the lawsuit brought against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE.

As part of the lawsuit, former WWE employee Janel Grant alleged that McMahon had offered her sexual services to an unnamed former UFC Champion and WWE star — believed to be Lesnar.

Despite the allegations, there have been reports that inquiries have been made to bring Lesnar back to the company, and WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has confirmed he remains part of WWE.

Finn Balor Believes Brock Lesnar Is On A Different Level

While Lesnar has become a controversial figure due to the allegations against him, Finn Balor has a lot of positive things to say about The Conqueror when it comes to his abilities in the ring. Speaking on ‘What’s the Story?,’ Balor claimed that Lesnar is one of the most underrated professionals in history.

“It kind of normally goes the bigger you get, the slower you get. You look at Braun Strowman, no offence, but he doesn’t move like Brock (Lesnar).

“Brock is just a different level. Completely different level than everyone else on the roster, like physically, and I think he understands the business better. I think he’s the most underrated professional in history perhaps.”

Going one step further, Balor named Lesnar as his favourite opponent by far.

“He sells better than anyone, more realistic than anyone. He’s by far my favorite opponent… He’s always overlooked (in those conversations). Always overlooked. He’s been at the top for, I don’t know, 15 years? More maybe and yeah, he can do it all.”

The two men have only met in the ring twice, once as part of the 2019 Money in the Bank Ladder match. The other bout saw them meet one-on-one with the Universal Championship on the line at the Royal Rumble the same year.

While Balor nearly scored the win in that match with a Coup de Grace, Lesnar escaped the pinfall and locked in a Kimura for the submission victory before destroying his opponent with suplexes and an F5 for good measure.
