Finals Set For Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament

Following the 8th of July edition of AEW Collision, fans now know who will face off in the final of the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

The finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments will take place in Hart’s hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on the July 15th edition of Collision when AEW debuts in the historic Calgary Saddledome.

In Regina, Saskatchewan the final of the men’s tournament was set when Powerhouse Hobbs faced Ricky Starks, and Samoa Joe took on CM Punk in the semi-finals.

Starks picked up the victory over his former tag team partner when Hobbs’ current associate QT Marshall seemed to distract the referee which allowed Starks to hit a spear on Hobbs to pick up the win.

CM Punk and Samoa Joe met one-on-one for the seventh time in their careers and for the first time ever Punk was able to get the better of Joe, picking up the win and moving on to the final. After the match, Samoa Joe offered a handshake but when Punk accepted he was pulled into the coquina clutch. AEW Tag Team Champions FTR ran down to make the save.

The semi-finals for the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will take place on Dynamite and Rampage with Ruby Soho taking on Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale facing ROH Women’s Champion Athena.
