Final WWE Raw On USA Network To Be Loaded Show

The final edition of WWE Raw on USA Netflix is set to be a loaded show.

WWE has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the network that dates back to the inaugural edition of the show on 11th January 1993, interrupted only by a five-year stint with TNN beginning in September 2000.

The company is moving it’s flagship show to Netflix beginning on 6th January 2025 in a decade-long deal worth in the region of $500 million per annum.

Whilst big things are planned for the debut of Raw on Netflix, it would appear that the company want to say farewell to their long-time business partners in style.

During a recent edition of WrestleVotes Radio it was noted that the show was expected to include multiple tributes to the past two decades as well as key matches from the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament:

“They’re not short-changing Houston, though. I know on [December 30], they are trying to give us a nice sendoff there. There’s been a lot of work to go into the finale of Raw on USA. It’s been a long, long time that they’ve been on that network. Obviously a little break when they left to go to TNN, AKA Spike TV, but then came right back to USA. So they’re going to do a nice sendoff.”

“I’m sure you’ll have a nice little video package of all the moments that happened on USA over the years. And they want to make sure that they give them a good show. So it’ll determine who will be in the finals for this Women’s Intercontinental Championship match. I’d expect a couple other matches for that Houston show to pop up as we approach December 30, which is a lot of the years.

It could be one of those punt shows where it’s a recap show. They don’t really give us anything live. They give talent time off, but because of the relationship with USA ending for Raw, they want to do everything they can to honour that partnership. Obviously, they will continue on with USA on SmackDown, but they want to make sure that they’re delivering a good show on December 30 as well.”

Huge Bout Expected For WWE Raw Debut On Netflix

WWE are lining up a host of huge names for their Netflix debut, with the company going all out to impress on it’s first outing with the streaming giants.

Roman Reigns will take on Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat bout during the highly anticipated night at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome whilst prominent wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has reported that CM Punk will battle Seth Rollins on the the huge debut show.
