Little Mania promoted the event as a “night of midget violence” and set up a mini wrestling ring in the back room of Southpaw Bar & Grill, a bar in Murphysboro.

The show was sold out, with a packed crowd that reportedly created a tense atmosphere as the venue struggled to manage the large number of fans in a confined space.​

During the event, an argument among several fans in the crowd began escalating, though the exact trigger has not been officially confirmed.

Witnesses and reports state that the disagreement quickly turned into a full‑scale physical brawl involving multiple people, with fans throwing punches and shoving each other near the ring area.​

The situation got so bad that the venue staff and security had to intervene and physically separate the fighters and remove at least one man and one woman from the premises.

Police were called and arrived while the wrestling matches were still ongoing, with multiple officers present inside and outside the bar to control the situation.
