Female WWE Star Threatens To Reverse Cowgirl Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley has gold around her waist again.
On the January 5 episode of WWE Raw, Ripley and Iyo Sky kicked off the show with The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The rivalry gained prominence a couple of months ago when Asuka and Sane turned on Sky, resulting in Ripley coming to her aid.
Several confrontations along the way set the stage for a match between the two teams on the first episode of the red brand in 2026.
All four wrestlers traded great offense before The Kabuki Warriors exploited Iyo Sky’s injured back to gain an advantage. Sky managed to bring The Eradicator back into the fight, as she hit a Razor’s Edge on Sane.
A few minutes of back-and-forth action later, Rhea Ripley hit her Riptide finisher, followed by Sky hitting Over the Moonsault on her Japanese compatriot. Ripley subsequently pinned Asuka for the victory.
This is Ripley’s first WWE tag team title run with Iyo Sky and second overall.
WWE Star’s Risque Message To Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley is in high spirits after winning the women’s tag team titles with her best friend in WWE.
To commemorate the occasion, she shared a few pictures of herself on Instagram with Iyo Sky, along with the newly won belts, captioning it, “Just incase you forgot… Rhiyo is always on TOP! 😉😘”

Of late, the women’s tag team division has seen a spike in the number of challengers, with at least six different teams vying for gold.
One of these teams includes the duo of Nia Jax and Lash Legend, who have previously crossed paths with Ripley and Sky.
On the January 2 episode of SmackDown, Ripley, Sky, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss teamed up against Jax, Legend, and The Kabuki Warriors in an 8-woman tag team match.
The babyfaces won after Iyo Sky pinned Kairi Sane.
After coming across Rhea Ripley’s celebratory post, Nia Jax left a risque comment under it, insinuating that she was ready for the challenge.
