Female star mocks AJ Lee after attacking her real-life husband, CM Punk. The star in question is Roxanne Perez.

WWE is currently holding an ongoing tour in the UK, Ireland, and France, leading up to Clash in Paris on August 31, which has brought thrilling action to arenas in Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, and Manchester.

At the AO Arena in Manchester on August 26, CM Punk joined Sami Zayn and Penta in a six-man tag match against The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio. Although Punk’s team ultimately won, Roxanne Perez successfully sneak-attacked the Second City Saint and hit him with her Pop Rox finisher while her stablemates distracted the referee.

After the attack, the former WWE NXT Women’s Champion logged onto her X (Twitter account) to taunt CM Punk’s wife and former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee. Perez has a history of idolizing Punk and AJ Lee. Her taunt was a nod to her heel work in WWE, where she’s mocking the very ones whom she hero-worshipped growing up.

“Hi mom @TheAJMendez,” Perez tweeted, sharing a clip of her sneak attack on Punk.

WWE’s ongoing tour began on Friday, August 22, with Friday Night SmackDown at Dublin’s 3Arena. On Saturday, August 23, the Stamford-based promotion arrived in Liverpool for a Road to Clash in Paris house show at M&S Bank Arena. The action resumed on Sunday, August 24, at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena.

On Monday, August 25, Birmingham hosted Monday Night RAW at bp pulse Live. The tour continued its UK leg on Tuesday, August 26, at Manchester’s AO Arena, where Punk ate up the Pop Rox finisher. The international tour will end at Monday Night RAW after the Clash in Paris, both of which will emanate from the Paris La Défense Arena.

Speaking of Clash in Paris, on August 31, 2025, CM Punk is set for a high-stakes Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins (champion), LA Knight, and Jey Uso. The storyline was built through weeks of heated promos and post-SummerSlam drama, after Rollins cashed in Money in the Bank to steal the title from Punk.
