Wrestling Veteran Urges Female AEW Stars To Date Tony Khan

Tony Khan AEW

Former WWE creative writer Vince Russo jokingly urged AEW female talents to snag Tony Khan while he’s still available.

The AEW president prefers to keep his personal life private; however, there are no reports of him being married.

Russo appeared on Behind the Turnbuckle Studios’ Coach and Bro podcast with Jonathan Coachman.

A discussion that began with the recently held Fanatics Fest NYC 2025 ended in Russo proposing a conspiracy theory.

Yesterday, I saw an interview with my beloved Chyna. And she was talking about how she found out about him (Triple H) and Stephanie, etc. Listen, let’s face it. I don’t question for a second Triple H and Stephanie fell in love, but let’s face it, Triple H knew what he was getting in the deal.

So, here’s where my mind starts going. Who’s gonna be the first female to set her sights on Tony Khan in AEW? I mean, would that not be the catch of catches?

Listen, all you women working in AEW, “Go for it.” And Coach, here’s the teaser: I’m gonna tell you on our next show who I think it’s gonna be. [54:53 onwards]

Tony Khan Blasted For Misleading Comments About AEW Ratings

Tony Khan was at the Cannes Film Festival for an interview with Yahoo Finance, which was designed to promote his wrestling promotion.

He claimed that AEW was doing brilliantly ratings-wise, crediting the Max simulcast for an increase in cable viewership.

However, the company’s 2025 ratings for AEW Dynamite through June stood at 628,000 viewers as compared to 961,500 in 2022, 858,000 in 2023, and 698,000 in 2024.

Fans of wrestling on social media called Tony Khan out for his misleading comments.

ITR Wrestling even posted an article on its platform, calling Khan’s claims “audacious.”
