Fears In WWE That Upcoming Debut Could Overshadow Bloodline Star
Could a new WWE signing really out-shine one of its established stars?
Ever since WrestleMania 40, The Bloodline has been in complete turmoil. In the lead-up to the event, The Rock all but took over the faction although he continued to defer to Roman Reigns in public. However, at the spectacular, Reigns lost his Undisputed WWE Title and hasn’t been seen since. Rock has also hopped back to Hollywood.
With a gap at the top of the group, Solo Siko has stepped up with the help of the recently arrived Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. Sikoa’s bid for power has seen him become more ruthless than ever, kicking Jimmy Uso from the faction.
It’s long been believed that Jacob Fatu will soon be debuting with WWE after agreeing a deal just prior to WrestleMania. Unsurprisingly, Fatu is expected to be thrown into the Bloodline-related chaos. However, according to a new report from Wrestle Votes, WWE is concerned that Fatu could overshadow Sikoa.
Interesting tidbit here: sources suggest that Solo Sikoa’s recent aggressive streak is part of a strategy to establish him as ‘the’ main force within this new phase of the Bloodline, ahead of Jacob Fatu’s debut.
However, some trepidation remains within creative over fear that Fatu’s presence could outshine Solo at this stage.
Roman Reigns Taking Extended Break From WWE
During night one of the recent WWE Draft it was announced that Roman Reigns had made himself unavailable for selection. In storyline, Paul Heyman said Reigns had no immediate plans to return to the ring, while in real life he isn’t advertised to appear until the final episode of SmackDown before SummerSlam.
To date, Reigns has wrestled just three times in 2024, with two of those matches taking place at WrestleMania 40.
