WWE celebrated the first anniversary of its deal with Netflix tonight with a special Stranger Things-themed episode of RAW, live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The episode saw some marquee matches, as three titles were on the line tonight. CM Punk successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker in the main event, while the other two titles changed hands.

While the matches were entertaining enough on their own, another huge moment took place in a blink-and-you-miss-it segment during the show as a new wrestler became a member of the WWE RAW roster.

Je’Von Evans officially joins WWE RAW

Former NXT superstar Je’Von Evans officially became part of the red brand tonight as announced by the General Manager, Adam Pearce. Evans came out in front of the Brooklyn crowd tonight to a huge cheer as Pearce made the announcement.

He had been appearing on both RAW and SmackDown for the last few weeks and made his debut for the red brand during the Last Time is Now tournament. He wrestled his final NXT match last week, where he was defeated by Ricky Saints.
