Longtime radio personality and Hulkster’s former associate Bubba the Love Sponge claimed the WWE Hall of Famer was in critical condition. He even suggested that family members were being contacted to come and say their final goodbyes. Naturally, the wrestling world spiraled. Fans feared the worst, and speculation snowballed across social media.

But Hulk Hogan’s reps quickly stepped in to shut it down. They confirmed that while the wrestling legend had indeed been hospitalized recently, his condition was not nearly as severe as reported. In fact, they insisted that the Hulkster was already up and moving around again, brushing off the deathbed chatter entirely.

Speaking on the latest episode of Behind the Turnbuckle Studios, Russo offered perspective instead of adding to the speculation. He asked fans to pray for Hulk Hogan, irrespective of the nature of the rumors.
