An ex-WWE Champion has revealed their feelings after making their shocking return to the promotion.

Dolph Ziggler (Nic Nemeth) made his main roster debut in 2005, alongside Chavo Guerrero, where he portrayed his enforcer and sidekick.

Following Eddie Guerrero’s death, Chavo dropped the gimmick, resulting in even Ziggler moving on to a different role, appearing as one of the members of the Spirit Squad.

After a popular feud with D-Generation X, the faction disbanded. Nemeth was sent back to OVW before being repackaged as Dolph Ziggler.

Throughout his 19-year tenure with WWE, he was a singles competitor, winning 2 world titles, but also claimed tag team titles a few times.

Between 2022 and 2023, he became a regular on NXT, where he won the NXT Championship once and was subsequently released.

Nemeth returned to WWE as the surprise opponent of Solo Sikoa in the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament on the November 17 episode of RAW.

While he lost the match and failed to advance, he left a lasting impression through his athleticism.

In what has now become a trend, Triple H shared a backstage photo with Dolph Ziggler after his match against Solo Sikoa and captioned it:

Later, Ziggler reposted the photo on his X account, replying to the WWE Chief Content Officer, showcasing his excitement.

Meanwhile, speculations have emerged about the 45-year-old’s new contract with the Stamford promotion.

However, it has been confirmed that the appearance was only a short-term deal, and Ziggler remains contracted with TNA. Whether or not that changes in the near future remains to be seen.
