Another former WWE star could be on their way out of TNA as their contract with the promotion nears its end.

A recent report noted that Joe Hendry is being “phased out” of TNA as his expected move to WWE inches ever closer. That report claimed that Hendry is expected to become part of WWE full-time in early 2026. The Scottish star’s move to WWE has been expected ever since the partnership with TNA began, with Hendry ending up as Randy Orton’s surprise opponent at WrestleMania 41.

But with the end of 2025 looming large, there are a number of TNA contracts about to expire and among them is a former WWE star.

Ex-WWE Star Staying With TNA?

Fightful Select has reported that AJ Francis – formerly known as Top Dolla in WWE – has a contract that is set to expire at the end of 2025. It was noted that this was the same situation at the end of 2024, and Francis actually hit free agency before agreeing to terms with TNA for another one-year deal.

The report states that TNA is hoping to retain AJ Francis for 2026, with Francis noting how happy he is with the opportunities TNA has afforded him. As a result, it looks likely that he’ll be staying put.
