Ex-WWE Star Whom John Cena Stole From Her Boyfriend Returns At SNME
A former WWE Superstar has returned after six years of absence at Saturday Night’s Main Event to attend John Cena’s retirement match.
In 2011, Zack Ryder and Eve Torres became an on-screen couple in WWE. While Ryder was friends with Cena at the time, he was feuding with Kane.
During the storyline, Ryder’s on-screen girlfriend was kidnapped by The Big Red Monster. While the latter locked her in the back of an ambulance, Cena heard her pleas for help. The Leader of the Cenation rushed to her aid to save her from Kane.
As they stood face-to-face, Cena and Torres shockingly kissed. The intimate moment was even seen by the former Divas Champion’s on-screen boyfriend.
Although Torres later turned heel, her romance angle with Cena was seemingly dropped.
Eve Torres Returns To WWE For John Cena’s Retirement Match
Eve Torres left the Stamford-based company 12 years ago. She has since become an ambassador for the promotion. She has also made a few sporadic appearances on WWE TV. Her last one came six years ago on the RAW Reunion episode.
Tonight, Torres returned to WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus shared a video showing her in attendance, alongside Kurt Angle and the former Divas Champion.
