Ex-WWE Star Makes Surprise In-Ring Return After 3 Year Absence
A former WWE star has returned to the ring for the company over three years since they were released.
The Lucha House Party were a popular trio in WWE towards the end of the 2010s. Gran Metalik, Kalisto, and Lince Dorado comprised the group and although they wowed fans with their luchador style, in-ring success was hard to come by.
The group split in October 2020 thanks to the WWE Draft with Dorado and Metalik heading to Raw while Kalisto remained on SmackDown. Just over one year later, both Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik were both released from the company.
Lince Dorado Returns To WWE Ring
Since that departure, Lince Dorado has competed in MLW, NJPW, TNA, as well as AEW but in November 2023 he returned to WWE as a coach at the Performance Center. But now, he’s back in the ring for the company after competing in a match at an NXT live event on January 17.
Taking to social media, Lince Dorado confirmed his return to WWE, writing:

It remains to be seen if this will be part of a full-time return to action for the former WWE 24/7 Champion or if he will be confined to live events helping out the next generation of talent in the ring.
