A recently released WWE star was spotted partying with members of an AEW faction.

“Sexy” BJ Ray was one of the wrestlers let go by the Stamford-based promotion ahead of the Crown Jewel PLE in October.

Ray was one of the participants on Season 2 of Legends & Future Greats, the company’s reality show that awards winners with an NXT contract.

He also made a few NXT appearances, but was released due to his poor attitude backstage.

However, the former WWE star, real name Brayden Ray, did not let this setback affect him adversely. One of the first things he did was reach out to AEW boss Tony Khan via X, referring to himself as “The Ratings Machine.”

While there was no future communication reported, BJ Ray was recently spotted with members of the AEW faction, The Frat House, which comprises Griff Garrison, Preston Vance, Cole Carter, and Jack Jameson.

Ray took to Instagram to share pictures of himself with the faction members.

BJ Ray Received Flak From WWE Legend For Backstage Attitude

BJ Ray has been a controversial figure on WWE’s developmental show.

Booker T, who was one of the coaches on both seasons of LFG, criticized Ray’s attitude backstage during an appearance on the Hall of Fame podcast.

I always thought that kid had something. But in this business, you’ve gotta be able to apply yourself. It’s not gonna be like football, basketball, or any other structured sport. It’s not gonna be like that.

A guy like BJ Ray, he had the looks, he had the swag, the charisma, but everything else, he definitely was lacking in.

The same way BJ Ray was on television, he was that way off television. You can’t be that way.
