Ex-WWE Star Signs With Major Japanese Promotion
A former WWE Superstar has returned to Japan.
During a press conference on August 24, it was announced that Bea Priestley has officially signed with STARDOM. Company President Taro Okada later confirmed that Priestley’s next match will be at STARDOM TO THE WORLD 2025 on September 6.
At the event, Priestley will challenge World of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani. The star had initially returned to STARDOM in July, where she competed in the 2025 5 Star Grand Prix tournament.
Priestley spent several years working for STARDOM between 2017 and 2021 before signing with WWE in June of that year. Under the name Blair Davenport, the star competed across NXT UK, NXT, and, latterly, SmackDown. Bea Priestley was released in February.
Former WWE Champion Makes AEW Debut
Meanwhile, fellow former WWE Superstar Isla Dawn has finally made her AEW debut. The Scottish star made a surprise appearance on Collision in Glasgow, where he challenged Megan Bayne, although she was ultimately defeated.
There’s no word on whether Dawn has officially become All Elite.
The Scottish star initially joined WWE in 2018 when she took part in the Mae Young Classic. She later became a regular in NXT UK before moving to NXT in the United States and eventually the main roster.
Dawn found her biggest success alongside Fyre when the pair won the Women’s Tag Team Championship at Clash At The Castle: Scotland in 2024. The duo held the gold until they were beaten by Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at Bash In Berlin.
Despite still teaming with Fyre, Dawn was released by the company in February.
