Ex-WWE Star Makes Shock One Night Raw Return
WWE Monday Night Raw has had several voices over the years and one of them was back in the ring in their old role in Greenville, South Carolina.
While the likes of Jim Ross, Vince McMahon, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, and Michael Cole have been synonymous with Monday Night Raw over the decades, the show has also had many different voices bringing the stars of the company to the ring.
Lilian Garcia Makes WWE Raw Return
These days Samantha Irvin has won rave reviews for her ring announcing skills and on Raw in Greenville, she introduced one of the talents that paved the way for her in WWE, Lilian Garcia. Garcia joined WWE in 1999 and took over from the legendary Howard Finkel as Raw’s lead ring announcer, a position she held until her retirement in 2009.
Garcia returned to the company in 2011 as part of SmackDown and remained there until her second exit in 2016. Irvin introduced Garcia to the crowd before asking her to make the ring introductions for the King of the Ring quarter-final match between Kofi Kingston and Gunther. Gunther won the match to move on to the semi-finals where he will meet Jey Uso.

Lilian Garcia had made other one-off WWE appearances following her departure, announcing the finals of the Mae Young Classic in 2017 and returning again at the women-only Evolution pay-per-view in late 2018.
There has been another shake-up of WWE’s ring announcers following the draft with NXT’s Alicia Taylor being promoted to the main roster on SmackDown.
