Ex-WWE Star Says Batista Couldn’t Wrestle
A former WWE Tag Team Champion has lashed out at Batista, claiming that the star couldn’t ever wrestle and had two left feet in the ring.
Batista hit most of the major milestones a WWE Superstar can hit during his long and storied career with the company. During his time in the company, The Animal captured the World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Title on multiple occasions as well as headlining WrestleMania 21 and WrestleMania 30 and winning two Royal Rumble matches.
The star left WWE in 2010 to pursue an acting career before his infamous 2014 return that saw Daniel Bryan get the better of him but should also be fondly remembered for the Evolution vs. The Shield feud that it spawned. Batista brought the curtain down on his WWE career at WrestleMania 35 where he lost in his final match against former Evolution mentor, Triple H.
However, not all of Batista’s colleagues were fans of his in-ring work. Rene Dupree, speaking on his Cafe de Rene podcast has hit out at The Animal’s wrestling ability:
“Batista was physically larger than Hunter [Triple H] but he was nowhere near the worker. He was never a good worker. He had two f*cking left feet. I never seen any of his movies. If his movies are anything like his f*cking wrestling, he’s the sh*ts.”
