Ex-WWE Star Rules Out Return Unless Drastic Changes Happen

One former WWE star is in no rush to return to the company.

Ronda Rousey hasn’t wrestled for WWE since being defeated by Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023. In subsequent interviews, Rousey has made no secret of her frustration with her second WWE run, feeling the company didn’t deliver on earlier promises.

During an appearance on Good Morning America to promote her new book, Our Fight, Rousey was asked whether she’d ever return to WWE.

Not unless things drastically change with how things are run there, and so I highly doubt it.

When Rousey was asked why she decided to leave WWE, she said the lifestyle was unsustainable while having a young child.

Well, it’s just not a lifestyle that I can continue while being a mom. I was on the road 18 months with my baby and it was just nothing that we could sustain forever.

Back in March, Ronda Rousey was a bit more forceful with her thoughts on WWE, describing the company as a “sh*t show.” She added that she didn’t need anything from the company and had no intention of returning.

Meanwhile, she branded Vince McMahon a “f*cking sicko” as she broke down her frustration with the company.
