Ex-WWE Star Open To Working With Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon

A former WWE star will follow Vince McMahon if the money is right.

In January 2024, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis, alleging sex trafficking and sexual abuse. Shortly after the filing was made, McMahon stepped down from his role with the TKO Group, while Laurinaitis had already left WWE.

Although he’s largely kept out of the spotlight since leaving the company, Vince McMahon was recently pictured courtside watching the New York Knicks, after attending the Super Bowl with Shane McMahon and The Undertaker in February.

Interestingly there have been rumours that McMahon could start a new entertainment company despite his legal problems and involvement in multiple lawsuits.

Ex-WWE Star Drops Vince McMahon Hint

Matt Riddle worked for Vince McMahon for the entirety of his WWE career, and he’s admitted he’d work for him again in the future.

In a new interview with Going Ringside, Riddle said he’s heard McMahon might be starting up a new company, and if the new venture launches he’ll be interested if the money is right.

“Well, you know, in any business—especially in entertainment—you’re eventually going to run into a shakeup, right? I like the shakeup. I think entertainment is a business of change.

They got rid of Vince, but from what I hear through the grapevine, there might be a new opening for him. I’ve even heard Vince might have another company. I’m interested in anybody, bro. I’m an independent contractor. When I was under contract with WWE, I could naturally work anywhere, whenever I wanted, and for however much money I wanted,”

During the same interview, Matt Riddle claimed Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were difficult to work with while revealing that Sheamus hit him harder than anyone else.
