Ex-WWE Star Makes Surprising Prediction For Women’s MITB

WWE Women's Money In The Bank

All participants of the women’s Money in the Bank match faced off in a tag team match on SmackDown.

On one side, it was Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and Stephanie Vaquer; the other team featured Giulia, Roxanne Perez, and Naomi.

The babyfaces ultimately won, with Ripley hitting a Riptide on Roxanne for the 1-2-3.

Ripley is one of the strong contenders despite it being her first career ladder match. ‘Mami’ showed her dominance in the final minutes of the match, adding more to her confidence going into the PLE.

With six options to choose from, the wrestling fans are divided in their opinions. A former WWE star surprisingly looked past Ripley while picking his winner.

Aiden English, real name Matthew Rehwoldt, was part of the REBOOKED Wrestling Podcast, wherein the panel discussed their picks for the women’s MITB.

English picked newbie Stephanie Vaquer over other contenders.

I’m going with Stephanie Vaquer…I feel, like, I feel the wave with Vaquer, just the way she’s been booked and everything. It’s a little bit of a gut thing. [From 57:34]

Vaquer made her official main roster debut just this Monday, where she competed in a MITB qualifying match against Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile.

Stephanie Vaquer To Compete In Two WWE Matches Over The Weekend

It’s a big week for La Primera. Not only has she made her WWE Raw debut, but she will compete in two matches over the weekend.

Before competing in the MITB ladder match, Vaquer will enter a tag team match alongside Lola Vice at Worlds Collide. The pair takes on Chik Tormenta and Dalys.

Stephanie Vaquer has already wrestled in 30 matches in 2025, which is the same tally as LA Knight’s.
