Ex-WWE Star Admits Life Is A Nightmare Post-Release

One former WWE star has admitted life has been something of a nightmare ever since they got their release from the company.

Tegan Nox started with WWE in 2017, was released in the summer of 2021 and was brought back in December 2022. Nox overcame multiple knee injuries in her career, but she was only used sparingly prior to her second release from the company in late 2024.

Since her second release, Nox – under the name Nixon Newell – has had a handful of matches in the UK on the independent scene. But it seems things aren’t ideal for the Welsh star.

Tegan Nox Finding Life Tough After WWE

Speaking to Wrestling In The Middle, Nixon Newell admitted that she’s found it tough since leaving WWE to get the bookings that she wants:

Not great, to be honest. Severe lack of bookings. I’m not sure where that’s from, but the bookings that I have done, like I’ve been home to ATTACK!, which has been phenomenal. Got to wrestle Dani Luna, who’s been on my list, God, for years since she first started training, I could tell she was going to be something special.

So she’s been on my list for a very, very long time. So I’m glad that one was in the books at least. But yeah, it’s been slow. Hopefully, it picks up soon because it’s a nightmare. But hopefully, soon it gets better.
