Triple H Praises 26-Year-Old WWE Star
Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII witnessed the retirement of John Cena after he represented the company for 23 years.
Other than serving as a platform for his retirement, the show even gave NXT talent a chance to showcase their skills, one of whom was Sol Ruca.
The former NXT North American Champion faced Bayley, who has been on the main roster for nearly 10 years. Ruca, on the other hand, joined WWE in March 2002 with no wrestling background.
The 26-year-old put on an impressive show, securing her biggest win in the process when she rolled up Bayley for a successful pin.
During the SNME post-show, Triple H was all praise for the young superstar, claiming that she changed the business.
There are levels of athleticism, there’s levels of athleticism that you see in Sol (Ruca)… Just a whole ‘nother level.
You see people that come into an industry and in a moment when you see them, you think, wow, they just changed the business. Sol Ruca just changed the business.
