A former WWE Superstar has hit back.

Back in September, Odyssey Jones was fired by WWE following allegations of domestic abuse.

Jones was just weeks into the biggest push of his career after joining forces with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston on Monday Night Raw.

The star initially signed with the company in early 2019 and appeared on 205 Live and NXT before being drafted to Raw in 2023 and 2024. However, during this period he never appeared on TV for the red brand, instead competing in dark matches and occasionally in NXT.

Odyssey Jones Comments On WWE Exit

In a new video posted on social media, Jones addressed his departure from WWE and revealed he’s taking legal action against his accuser.

“I’m making this video to address the false allegations. These false claims are coming from a party that I used to priorly engage with. And I apologize for taking so long addressing these false claims, but I had to patiently wait to get an injunction set in place to protect my family, my friends, and myself.

I’m currently taking legal action against said party, so I can’t speak too much more on it, but there will be more information to come.

With that being said, I would like to thank the WWE for the amazing opportunity they’ve given me in my life. I thank you so much for bringing me on. I’d like to thank all the coaches that I’ve worked with over the years for helping me work on my craft and grow my craft and grow as a person.”

Jones went on to say that he’s accepting bookings for the rest of the year.

“With all that being said, the journey continues. I’m ready to get back to doing what I love to do. I’m accepting bookings in 2025, and I thank you all for your support and for your time.”

Back in December, it was reported that Odyssey Jones’ firing caused a big creative shift within WWE. According to the report, Jones was meant to play a major role in the break up of the New Day, with Woods and Kingston using him to replace Big E. However, with Jones released, the company delayed the group’s split until December.
