Ex-WWE Star Launches Shocking Accusations Against John Cena After 15 Years

John Cena has allegedly crossed the line with a former WWE star.

David Otunga debuted on the WWE main roster in 2010 as part of The Nexus. During his run, the 45-year-old shared the ring several times with John Cena. While the two held the WWE Tag Team Championship together, they also squared off multiple times in singles and tag team matches.

In a recent video he posted on his YouTube channel, Otunga recalled a shocking experience he had with The Never Seen 17 during a match in Paris on November 24, 2010. The licensed lawyer disclosed that he had never told that story, but had finally decided to reveal it after 15 years.

The former superstar was teaming with Wade Barrett against John Cena and Justin Gabriel. As Otunga was still green, he had been working on adding a few moves to his arsenal with Goldust. The latter taught him to hang his opponent on the rope, push the rope out, then pull it back. The babyface would then have to “jerk back up and take a bump.”

As Otunga went on to do the move on John Cena, the latter allegedly botched the spot and bumped early. The mess-up left the 17-time world champion furious.

I grab the top rope. The moment I grab the top rope, Cena does this awful looking sell. I didn’t push it back and pull it yet. I just touched the rope and he sold it. So, do you understand what I’m saying? I didn’t even do the move yet. I’m supposed to grab it, push it out, then pull it back. So, it looks like I’m yanking him off it. The moment I touched the rope, Cena sold it. He sold it way too early and it was wrong and it looked terrible, right? Well, I didn’t say anything about it. I turned around. Boy, Cena is pis*ed.

The former Nexus member claimed John Cena took his anger out on him, legitimately beating him up in the ring and cussing him out. Otunga was even told that his career was over and that he would be sent back to FCW.

He’s kicking my a** in there for real and cussing me out, telling me how terrible I am. I’m awful. I live in fantasy land. This is over. I’m going back to FCW. Like, this is it for me. In the middle of the match. And I don’t even know what to do with myself at this point because I didn’t mess that up. But yet this is John Cena and he’s cussing me out. Like, he’s getting disrespectful. Like, he’s stepping over the line here pretty much and we’re in the middle of a match.

So, I have to go on with this. And I remember being so embarrassed because people can hear this now. I know we’re in France, but still. Like, Evan Bourne is in there and he’s like snickering at me across the ring. And Wade’s in there and he’s not really saying anything. And it’s like, it’s awful.

And then, we go to the back. I don’t even get to say sorry. Ceena is cussing me out as soon as he comes through the curtain in front of the entire locker room and totally dressing me down and just telling me, like, this is a fantasy for me. I’m not a real wrestler. I shouldn’t be here. I can’t hack it. I gotta go back to FCW. The first thing he’s doing is getting on the phone and telling Vince. He’s calling the office.

And it’s so bad that this was the worst where it’s like, you know, I can’t do anything. I’m so frustrated. Like, I started getting like tears of anger welling up in my eyes because what do you do? And, you know, like, I’m not gonna, if he would have stepped over the line. I mean, that’s one thing he didn’t. So, it’s not like I’m gonna put my hands on him, but it’s like you don’t talk to another man like this and he’s being totally disrespectful. And like, the whole point of this is he messed it up.
