Ex-WWE Star Announced For Last Match Before Return
A former WWE star looks to be on their way back to the company but they are now set for one final match in TNA before that happens.
Naomi and Sasha Banks infamously walked out of WWE in May 2022 and have gone on to have notable careers outside the company. Banks became Mercedes Mone and headed to Japan where she held the IWGP Women’s Championship. Injury has kept her out of the ring since May 2023 but it is widely believed that Mercedes Mone is heading to AEW imminently.
Naomi on the other hand went to IMPACT Wrestling – now known as TNA – where she became Trinity. There she captured the Knockouts Championship and held that gold until losing it to Jordynne Grace at Hard To Kill. That loss all but confirmed to some that Trinity was heading back to WWE.
Trinity Confirmed For One More TNA Match Before Likely WWE Return
However, Trinity has some more business to attend to in TNA first. The company has now announced she will be in action on the 19th of January taping of Impact where she takes on Gisele Shaw.
ORLANDO! @TheTrinity_Fatu takes on @GiseleShaw08 THIS FRIDAY as #TNAiMPACT comes to the Osceola Heritage Park!

It has not been confirmed by any of the parties involved that Trinity is returning to her former company but that is the belief. Should her TNA deal allow, many expect the former SmackDown Women’s Champion to be a surprise in the women’s Royal Rumble.
