Ex-WWE Star Involved In Negotiating New Deal For Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss WWE Royal Rumble entrance

A former WWE star played a key role in negotiating a new contract for Alexa Bliss.

On February 1, Alexa Bliss made her shock return to WWE at the Royal Rumble. Bliss made her entry at number 21 sending the crowd in Indianapolis into raptures. Michael Cole alluded to the online rumours, saying that he thought she wasn’t coming back.

The star spent a little over 11 minutes in the ring before being eliminated by Liv Morgan. It was later reported that Bliss was an incredibly late addition to the match, with her spot originally taken by Shotzi.

A further report noted that Bliss will be part of Monday Night Raw moving forward.

The appearance was her first since clashing with Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Two months later, Alexa Bliss revealed a skin cancer diagnosis, and in November 2023, she gave birth to her first child.

Alexa Bliss Signs Five-Year Contract

As reported by Fightful Select, Alexa Bliss signed a new five-year contract on the morning of the Royal Rumble after being flown in that day.

Talent was unaware that Bliss would be involved until she arrived in Indianapolis. With regard to her new merchandise, this had been prepared weeks earlier when it became clear would be back in the ring soon.

The star’s previous contract had time added on due to her absence. However, company sources claim she wanted a new deal before making her return, while WWE wanted Bliss to continue working on her existing agreement. Interestingly, even if a new deal hadn’t been agreed, she would have remained under contract as she still had time remaining on her existing deal.

Fightful noted that Dean Muhtadi, better known to fans as Mojo Rawley, was also involved in putting the deal together with business partner Steven Kaye. The pair are co-founders of the Paragon Talent Group, which also represents the likes of Andrade, Darby Allin, Cassie Lee, Jordynne Grace, and Ric Flair.
