A former WWE superstar has remarked about his wrestling future with an interesting post on social media.

Damon Kemp was a WWE NXT wrestler whose real name is Bobby Steveson. He initially signed a deal with WWE in the summer of 2021. Three years later in July 2024, Kemp was no longer under WWE contract after the company chose to let him go without re-signing him.

Following his WWE departure, there were reports that Kemp was well-liked by officials in the company and there wasn’t a reason why they chose to move on. However, WWE is also hiring athletes all the time, which means sometimes you have to decide if you want to keep somebody or let them go when their deals are up.

During his NXT run, Kemp was a part of the Diamond Mine group and then he was later a part of the No Quarter Catch Crew led by Charlie Dempsey. Kemp did have a meaningful feud with The Creed Brothers after turning on Diamond Mine, but he wasn’t heavily featured in plans.

Prior to his WWE career, Kemp was a successful amateur wrestler. Kemp’s brother Gable Steveson also worked for WWE after winning an Olympic Gold Medal as a wrestler in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Gable was released by WWE also.

Bobby Steveson Ready To Continue Post-WWE Wrestling Career

In a post on social media, Bobby Steveson posted a photo of his wrestling gear and made it clear he was ready to step into the ring with anybody anywhere.

It’s not yet known if any pro wrestling companies with a television has an interest in Steveson, but clearly he’s ready to move on now that he’s no longer part of the WWE roster.
