Ex-WWE Star Heard Affair Rumor Involving John Cena & Vince McMahon

John Cena Vince McMahon

A former WWE star claimed he had heard an insane rumor involving John Cena and Vince McMahon.

The former WWE Chairman has been subject to many rumors over the years. A few days ago, Hall of Famer Bret Hart stirred the pot by claiming the 80-year-old had intimate relations with Shawn Michaels.

During an episode of Cafe de Rene, former WWE star Allan Funk, who briefly worked in the Stamford-based company in 2001, was asked to address The Hitman’s claims. The 54-year-old did not rule out the possibility that the allegations were true. Meanwhile, he revealed that he had heard a similar rumor involving Cena and McMahon.

I mean, I was around him a little bit. Anything’s possible, bro. I mean, all the stories I’ve heard about Vince, I mean, dude, who knows? I mean, you know, they’re saying John Cena and Vince had something going on, too. [Really?] You haven’t heard that one? [Cena and who?] And Vince. [Oh, really?] Yeah. You’ve never heard that? [0:59 onwards]

Neither of these rumors was ever proven or supported by solid evidence. Hence, they remain unverified gossip with no official confirmation.

John Cena Will Retire From WWE Next Month

While Vince McMahon has left WWE amid being sued by former employee Janel Grant for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking, John Cena is set to hang up his boots next month.

The Leader of the Cenation returned to the Stamford-based company earlier this year to embark on his retirement tour. The current Intercontinental Champion is set to defend his title tomorrow night against Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series in his second-to-last match. He will then square off against the winner of the “Last Time Is Now” tournament at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, which will be his final bout.
