40-Year-Old Ex-WWE Star: “On My Way To The Hall Of Fame”
An ex-WWE star has joked about taking a step towards the company’s Hall of Fame.
CJ Perry, fka Lana, was signed with the Stamford-based promotion from 2013 to 2021, during which she was primarily a manager, but also made several in-ring wrestling appearances.
She managed various superstars, including her husband Rusev, Aiden English, and Bobby Lashley.
After being away from the company for four years, she has landed a deal after signing the WWE Legend’s contract, which allows the promotion to use their likeness for merchandise, video games, etc., in exchange for royalties.
Perry recently appeared on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, where she revealed being surprised at being contacted by her former employer, joking that she would soon attain the Hall of Fame status.

“I was shocked when they called me. My agent called from Paradigm and I cried. I just couldn’t believe it.

CJ Perry Open To WWE Return
Despite initially claiming that she had retired, CJ Perry has said that she is open for a wrestling return.
However, during an interview with WrestlingNews.co, she specified that her interest lies more in managing talent than in-ring competition.
I would love to wrestle again, but I do believe that my money pocket, and what I add the most value to wrestling companies is talking and promoting their talent.
At the end of the day, we’re in the business of promotion. And if you watch the McMahon documentary, if you watch Logan and Jake Paul talk about about boxing and wrestling, we’re in the business of selling tickets and promoting.
