Ex-WWE Star Returning For First TV Match In 4 Years
A former WWE star is set to return to TV for the company for the first time in four years.
All the way back in January 2025, Lince Dorado made a surprise return to WWE at an NXT live event in Florida. At the event, Dorado defeated Josh Black.
Dorado hadn’t appeared for the company since being released back in 2021. The star made his WWE debut back in 2016 as part of the Cruiserweight Classic before forming part of the Cruiserweight division on Raw. He later joined forces with Gran Metalik and Kalisto to form the Lucha House Party.
While the team was popular with fans, they never captured tag team gold, and all three men were gone from the company by the end of 2021. Since leaving WWE, Dorado has wrestled for the likes of AEW, TNA, NJPW, and MLW.
Lince Dorado Returning To WWE TV
It soon became apparent that WWE had hired Lince Dorado as a coach, although he has been competing on live events for NXT, helping out the next generation of wrestling stars.
However, WWE has now confirmed that Lince Dorado will be competing in his first televised match in the company in four years when he gets in the ring on the May 28 edition of WWE Evolve. Dorado will be part of a triple threat match against Jordan Oasis and Jackson Drake, with the winner moving on to the Evolve Championship match on June 4.
