Ex-WWE Star Fires Back At “Forced Push” For Jey Uso
One former WWE star has blasted fans who think Jey Uso’s push in the company has been forced.
Jey Uso shocked everyone when he captured the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 41 when he made Gunther tap out. But his time at the top didn’t last as long as many might have hoped.
Gunther clashed with Uso in the June 9th edition of Raw’s main event, and The Ring General put the champion to sleep to become World Heavyweight Champion for the second time in his career.
Many fans were pleasantly surprised when WWE had Jey Uso win the Royal Rumble and then go on to become World Heavyweight Champion despite spending most of his career as a tag team star. Many saw this as proof that the company was listening to fans, as Uso frequently receives among the loudest crowd reactions with fans loving to “Yeet” along with the beloved star.
WWE Fans Go Nuts For Jey Uso
But for some reason, some fans still think Uso’s rise to the top has been “forced” by the company, and now Baron Corbin has heard enough of that rhetoric.
Taking to social media – under his real name of Tom Pestock – the former WWE star took issue with the idea that Uso’s push has been forced:
What the f*ck are you talking about. He got over as organic as you can! Every crowd go nuts when his music hits. No insane moves needed. True definition of being over. Music = pop!
What the fuck are you talking about. He got over as organic as you can! Every crowd go nuts when his music hits. No insane moves needed. True definition of being over. Music = pop!
