Ex-WWE Star Fires Back At Becky Lynch After Recent Criticism

A former WWE star isn’t happy with Becky Lynch.

At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch won the SmackDown and Raw Women’s Titles in the main event, capping off a run that saw her become the biggest star in the entire wrestling industry.

However, her momentum quickly took a hit when her first storyline as “Becky Two Belts” saw her feud with Lacey Evans, who had only recently graduated from NXT and was relatively inexperienced.

The feud began the night after WrestleMania, and Lynch later beat Evans at Money In The Bank and then at Stomping Grounds.

Many fans felt the rivalry was a disappointment after such a high for Lynch at WrestleMania, and it seems they weren’t alone.

During a new interview, Becky Lynch said going from main eventing WrestleMania to facing Lacey Evans was “horrible.” But those comments haven’t gone down well with the now-former WWE star.

Lacey Evans Mocks Becky Lynch

In a series of posts on social media, the former Lacey Evans went on the attack, calling out Lynch. She began by claiming that Lynch cried backstage after they worked together, while suggesting she’s two-faced.

Dont hate the player. Hate the game. 😘 the only person who *shoot cried more than you was the baby I had on my hip while taking all the opportunities. 🫠 if/when I come back…..you will STILL do nothing but gently shake my hand and say “how cute my little family is” backstage.

The star went on to mock Lynch for her in-ring skills despite spending several years “grinding” on the indies. She also claimed that Lynch “cried for two hours” before no-selling her Women’s Right finisher on Raw.

After several attempts to repackage her character, Evans was released by WWE in August 2023.
