Ex-WWE Star Would Love Extreme Dream Match With Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley is in demand.

WWE has been changing rapidly during the last decade, especially in regard to the women’s division. While the starting point was incredibly low, women’s Royal Rumbles, Elimination Chambers, and WarGames matches have now all become standard.

It’s also not uncommon to see women’s stars going to war inside Hell In A Cell, a steel cage, or in other weapons-filled matches.

During this same period, Rhea Ripley has risen to become one of the biggest stars in the entire industry. So perhaps it’s no surprise that she remains a target for one former star.

Ex-WWE Divas Champion Wants Rhea Ripley Match

In a new interview with Poker Scout, Saraya looked back on her career to date and what might come next. When asked about potential dream matches, the former AEW Women’s World Champion said she’d like to face Ripley in an Extreme Rules kind of match, something she missed out on during her WWE run.

“It has to be Rhea Ripley. When I was in WWE, we had just started getting the ball rolling with the Divas Revolution. So the matches like the Elimination Chamber and the Royal Rumble and stuff like that was only just starting to happen. So I didn’t get the opportunity to do those, at least in WWE anyway. So I feel like it would be fitting for me and Rhea to do an Extreme Rules match or something like that. Something edgy for us!”

Back in March, Saraya announced that she’d reached an agreement with Tony Khan to leave AEW, despite her contract having six months to run. Unsurprisingly, the British star was immediately linked with a return to WWE, but the switch is yet to materialise.

However, that hasn’t stopped the speculation. In fact, things have gotten so bad that Saraya has been forced to deny that she’s “begging for a job. The star said in a recent interview that she’s not the one bringing up WWE during appearances; she’s just answering questions.
