“He’s A F**king Pr*ck” – Ex-WWE Star Explains Controversial Comments About Triple H
A former WWE star has doubled down on his controversial comments about Triple H.
Maven joined the Stamford-based company in 2001 after winning the inaugural season of Tough Enough. The 49-year-old had a four-year run, during which he held the Hardcore Championship three times, before getting released from his contract in 2005.
Nearly two decades after his departure, Maven has become a YouTube phenomenon, using his channel to discuss wrestling and getting millions of views. The former WWE star’s popularity on the video-sharing platform has led many to question if he would return to the Stamford-based company.
The former Hardcore Champion recently addressed the subject on Mic Check With Mr. Anderson. He made controversial comments about Triple H, claiming the WWE Chief Content Officer did not like him, calling him a “pr*ck.”
At the end of the day, Hunter does not like me. We were cordial, but if there’s anybody who hated the way I came into the business, it’s him. I will forever in his eyes be the Tough Enough guy. … He’s a pr*ck. I’m never gonna ever say no to anything. I just don’t think the call’s coming while he’s still there.
That’s it. I wish him the best. You’ll never find anybody that knows the wrestling business than him. And I had great matches with him because he’s good, not because I’m good.
Maven Again Calls Triple H A “Pr*ck” While Explaining His Previous Comments
During a recent episode of the Cafe de Rene podcast, Maven explained his comments about Triple H. The former Hardcore Champion disclosed that although he usually tries not to let his emotions out, he sometimes slips, which was the case during his interview with Ken Anderson.
The former Tough Enough winner then called The Game a “pr*ck” again for his backstage antics.
Sometimes, man. Sometimes, you know, I try to babyface most situations. I try to not let my full, not even anger, but just internal combustion that takes place in my mind when I think of what could have been. And, eventually, it just wins. It takes over and the d*ckhead in me comes out and I speak my mind. And that was one case, talking with Ken when that happened. And I was just talking about him and talking about him. And then I thought about all the people that he’s done that to, and then the Batistas of the world who he befriends because he looks like Batista looked, and then I’m like, ‘Man, he’s a f**king pr*ck.’ [57:21 onwards]
