“Do You Want To F**king Fight”: Ex-WWE Star Details Confrontation With Shawn Michaels

A former WWE star got a glimpse of the old Shawn Michaels as a match nearly turned into a very real fight backstage.

Shawn Michaels is supposedly a different person from what he was during his heyday as a politicking, drug-addicted rebel in the WWE locker room. HBK once infamously ended up in a backstage fight with Bret Hart, where he lost a sizable chunk of his trademark long hair. But that’s not the only follicle issue he’s dealt with in WWE.

Speaking on the Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE star Mr Kennedy discussed his issues with Shawn Michaels and that the WWE Hall of Famer was unhappy with him during a match on Raw:

I always made sure I was gentle with him. While I was doing that, he goes, ‘Get your hands out of my face. I breathe out of my face.’ We’re in commercial break. I’m like, ‘Oh, okay, sorry bro.’ We’re coming out of break, the referee comes and tells you, ‘Alright, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, we’re back.’

Shawn Michaels Had His Hair Ripped Out

However, things went further south when Kennedy ended up spitting his gum into Shawn Michaels’ hair and was forced to tear it out:

So they always want you to come out with like a hold and go into a spot, coming out of the break. So I, as we’re coming out, I probably switched to a headlock, maybe a waistlock, a rear chinlock, or something like that. And he gives me an elbow.
He gives me a shot to the gut, and he gives me another cut, and I went oomf. And I f**king spit my gum directly into his already… Marty Jannetty ripped out a patch of his hair, so he’s got a patch, that already does not… It’s sitting right there. So if I pull it slowly… so I just yank it.

That led to Shawn Michaels offering Kennedy a fight when they got backstage:

We came back through the curtain on that one. He was like, ‘Do you want to f**king fight for real?’ I said, ‘No, but we can f**king go if you want.’ He was like, ‘Sorry, I get a little out of hand.’ He was cool about it. I get it, guys get heated out there sometimes.
