Irvin was hugely popular among the audience during her stint as the WWE ring announcer from 2021 to 2024.

Samantha Irvin Unsuccessfully Auditioned To Be A WWE Wrestler

Before taking on the role of ring announcer, Irwin had auditioned to become a wrestler. She was introduced to the sport by Hall of Famer Mark Henry.

After her unsuccessful attempt, Irwin was brought to the NXT brand as the in-ring announcer. In 2022, she was promoted to the SmackDown brand in a similar role before being bumped up to Raw.

On the Raw episode following WrestleMania XL, the newly crowned Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes requested Irvin to announce him a second time, earning her cheers from the fans in the arena.
