Ex-WWE Star Admits Butting Heads With Major Backstage Name
A former WWE star has admitted to having a rough time with a backstage name, as they had to figure out how to deal with one another.
Gigi Dolin was let go from WWE as part of sweeping roster cuts in May 2025, bringing her time in the company to an end. Dolin was best known as part of the Toxic Attraction group, and she held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with Jacy Jayne.
But it wasn’t all plain sailing for Dolin in the company.
Gigi Dolin Butted Heads With WWE PC Head Coach
Speaking on Scott’s Scoop, Gigi Dolin – now known again as Priscilla Kelly – explained how she had a tough time getting to understand WWE Performance Center head coach Matt Bloom, but ultimately, he was the one who pushed her to succeed:
Me and Matt Bloom, he’s the head coach and when I first got there, man, did we butt heads. But, I think it’s because I’m a little bit less of a — I don’t always wear my emotions on my face. I’m a little bit more monotone and I’m a little bit quieter, I’m a little bit to myself and sometimes that can read a little wrong.
So I think it took me and Matt a little while to figure each other out, but once him and I did get to that point where we figured out each other’s personalities, he really was the person that got me through some of my hardest days and motivated me to keep working my ass off half the time. Because deep down, he was always rooting for me from the very start.
So I really appreciated Matt Bloom and just, him always being there to kind of give me that kick in the ass to keep going, keep working harder, even when I maybe had my self-doubts at times which comes with working there. It does, for everybody…
Matt Bloom is best known to WWE fans as Albert, A-Train, or Lord Tensai from his time competing in the company.
Priscilla Kelly has returned to a previous promotion where she has targeted a former partner of hers in WWE.
