Ex-WWE Star To Appear At Raw 30th Anniversary

WWE monday night Raw set

A former WWE Superstar best known for his time in the company during the nineties has revealed they will be part of the 30th anniversary of Raw.

Former WWE star Tatanka made his name during the early nineties. He first featured on Monday Night Raw on the fifth edition of the show where he was part of a 15-man battle royal won by Razor Ramon. His time in the company stands out for the impressive undefeated streak he built which was improbably ended by Ludvig Borga.

Tatanka eventually turned his back on close ally Lex Luger at SummerSlam 1994. After Tatanka had defeated Luger, he attacked his friend and joined Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Corporation. He remained with the company until leaving in the spring of 1996.

Taking to Facebook, Tatanka revealed that he has been invited to attend the 30th anniversary edition of Raw which will take place on January 23rd, 2023 in Philadelphia:

“To the #TatankaNation Thx always for your overwhelming support! Want all of u to know I’ve been invited to the 30th Anniversary Celebration of #WWERAW Jan. 23rd in Philadelphia! Memories of many barn burners at the Philly Spectrum 🔥WWETatanka #WWE #WWEUniverse #Tatanka”

Although Tatanka is best remembered for his initial run in WWE, he did make a comeback in the mid-2000s as part of SmackDown. He returned once more to the company in 2016 when he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has also confirmed that he was asked to attend the event and has hit out at a fellow Hall of Famer he doesn’t think would have been invited.
